Detroit Red Wings at Florida Panthers: Game Time, TV, Radio, Live Stream

The Detroit Red Wings travel to Florida to face the Atlantic Division leading Panthers. The Red Wings are coming off a win on Thursday against Columbus.

The Detroit Red Wings got a much needed win on Thursday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Red Wings never trailed the Blue Jackets, as they won 3-1.

Jimmy Howard was only a minute away from getting a shutout but Alexander Wennberg scored a power play goal to spoil Howard’s shutout bid.

Once again though Jimmy Howard played another great game and he will get another start tonight as Petr Mrazek is still battling a sickness.

Even better news Niklas Kronwall might make his return tonight. He will be a game time decision but even if he doesn’t play it’s good to know that Kronwall is close to coming back.

The Red Wings are eight points behind the Panthers for the division lead but lead the Flyers by a point as of this writing. The Flyers though play the Pittsburgh Penguins earlier today so by the time the Red Wings play tonight they could be trailing the Flyers.

Regardless of what the Flyers do today, tonight is another big game for the Red Wings. A win in regulation against the best team in the division could give the Red Wings hope to catch the Panthers.

A loss tonight in regulation would pretty much end all that talk and possibly put the Red Wings behind in the Wild Card chase.

Here is all the information for tonight’s game:
