The 2013 NBA Draft begin on Thursday June 27th at 7:00pm for Barclay’s Center in New Jersey.  The Detroit Pistons have the 8th overall pick.  Although they are porjected to take a guard in most mock drafts, their is a possilility that the top prospects will be gone by the time the Pistons select.  In doing their due dilligence, Joe Dumars and the Detroit Pistons have invited a number of big men in for a workout. With two lottery picks already inahbiting the front court, the Dumars will probably be focused on a player that can play the 3 or stretch to 4.

That said if one of the priemere centers fell to the Pistons at 8 they wouldn’t turn him away
