2013 NBA Draft: Detroit Pistons Draft Prospects Forwards

Cody Zeller – Center -Indiana

The Pistons had Cody Zeller in for a workout on Monday of draft week.  Cody Zeller’s draft stock is all over the board although most mock drafts have him projected late in the first round. That would make him available for the Pistons if the guards are all off the board.

NBA Draft net notes that Cody Zeller has great intangible and can develop into a solid NBA player. Although he is a solid defender, Zeller can be overwhelmed by stronger opponents.

"Not a shot blocker or much of a presence on the defensive end. Can be overwhelmed by stronger and more explosive opponents … While very composed, his moves can be too predictable, leading to blocked shots … Unselfish to a fault."

Although Zeller was a center in college he figures to be a stretch 4 in the NBA.
