To say that the Pistons offseason has been busy is an understatement. Â Joe Dumars managed to completely make over the Detroit Pistons roster. And he was able to accomplish that without moving the expiring contracts of Rodney Stuckey and Charlie Villaneuva.
Depsite still having Stuckey and Villaneuva on the roster, the Detroit Pistons starting five will look drastically different from last year. Joe Dumars used the Pistons cap space to sign free agent forwards Josh Smith and Luigi Datome.  He then acquired another guard Brandon Jennings in a trade with the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for Brandon Knight, Slav Krastov and Khris Middleton.  After the trade he turned his attention to bolstering the back court by resigning guard Will Bynum and bringing back Piston legend Chancey Billups.
All these moves will affect the Pistons starting five. The only two returning starters are in the front court, Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe.
