The Detroit Lions will have multiple areas that will require attention, but none worse than the defensive tackle position. That’s because current rookie Caraun Reid will be the only DT on the roster following the current season.

Ndamukong Suh, Nick Fairley, C.J. Mosley and Andre Fluellen will all hit the free agent market in 2015. There is of course still a very good possibility that the Lions could re-sign any number of them, but all four is unlikely. Therefor, Detroit will have some holes to fill on the interior of the defensive line this offseason.

ESPN NFL Draft analyst, Mel Kiper Jr., believes that the Lions will have plenty of options come next spring.

"“It’s pretty good,” he said of the defensive tackle class on a teleconference Thursday. “I think there’s a lot of defensive tackles that could go fairly high.”"

Kiper is right too. There is a plethora of talent at the DT position in the 2015 NFL Draft and were going to take a look at the top 5 prospects.
