This is one I’m admittedly on the fence about. On one hand Johnson will be 34 next season and has been on the decline as of late. On the other hand, Johnson has still put forth admirable numbers with 936 yards and 3 touchdowns this past season.  Nevertheless signing Johnson goes against everything I’ve been preaching.

Johnson has been on the outs with the Texans for a few years now for a reason. The Lions need a young guy that can grow with the offense instead of a receiver that will give them one year. Unless of course Johnson is willing to take a veterans minimum, which he won’t. Look for Johnson to sign with Oakland for one last pay-day.
