The Detroit Tigers wrap up their three-game series against the Minnesota Twins on Thursday afternoon. Here’s how you can watch the game on TV or streaming online.

The Detroit Tigers will go for the series sweep against the Minnesota Twins as the two teams conclude a three-game series at Comerica Park on Thursday afternoon.

The Tigers won the first two games of the series thanks to big home runs from hitters at the bottom of the lineup. On Tuesday it was James McCann’s two-run blast (his third home run of the season) in the fifth inning that proved to be the game winner. On Wednesday the Tigers plated five runners in the fourth inning thanks, in large part, to an Andrew Romine grand slam.

The win gave the Tigers a 6-2 record and put them sole possession of first place here in the early part of the season. It’s still too early for scoreboard watching, but the Tigers have gotten out to a hot start including a 3-1 record against AL Central opponents.

The Tigers will turn to Jordan Zimmermann to make the start today. He pitched six innings of one-run ball against the Boston Red Sox last weekend with three strikeouts and just one walk (he also hit a batter).

The Twins will send veteran Phil Hughes to the mound. Hughes is known for running low strikeout rates — and even lower walk rates — so, as was the case yesterday, the Tigers should have opportunities to put the ball in play.

Here’s the batting lineup manager Brad Ausmus will use against Hughes and the Twins.

Here’s all the information you’ll nee to find today’s game on TV or streaming online.
