Now that the Detroit Tigers have our full attention they seem to be struggling a bit. The Red Wings begin a critical offseason. The Detroit Pistons are closing in on their coach and The Lions are evaluating their roster. All this and more Detroit Sports in the DJC Morning Drive.

The Tiger dropped the weekend series losing another close game to the Orioles. Phil Coke let down Rick Porcello by failing to strand his two inherited runners in the 7th inning. Meanwhile the Tigers could only manage 2 runs as the offensive inconsistency continues.

"The Detroit Pistons are inching closer to hiring a coach. Oklahoma City Thunder assistant coach Maurice Cheeks has emerged as a strong candidate — he had a third interview this past weekend. It was his first trip to the Detroit area to discuss the job. The first contact came several weeks ago via a phone interview."
