2013 NBA Mock Draft: 1st Round
By Tony Fischer
#21 Utah Jazz – Dennis Schroeder – Point Guard – Germany
The Jazz need a point guard as they don’t have one going into next season. Schroeder is only 19 and has a nice upside. He can develop for a year at the NBA level and possibly be ready to help the Jazz next year. He should be a nice complement to CJ McCollum who we project the jazz will draft at 14.
#22 Brooklyn Nets – Gorgui Dieng – Center – Louisville
Injury concerns and his age have cause him to slip but he in NBA ready.
#23 Indiana Pacers – Reggie Bullock – Small Forward – North Carolina
The Pacers were hoping Snell would be here but drafting Bullock makes sense to add depth to the front court. Bullock is a gifted 3-point shooter and can play on both sides.
#24 New York Knicks – Jamaal Franklin – Shooting Guard – San Diego State
The Knicks were all over this guys from the beginning and they get their man.
#25 Los Angeles Clippers – Rickey Lebo – Shooting Guard – Providence
Lebo has been shooting up draft boards and could go higher because of a series of high quality workouts.
