What We Really Care About!
The Pistons seem primed to make the playoffs and the trade for Brandon Jennings maybe just what the doctor ordered. The Pistons need to focus on team defense because they have one of the best front courts in the NBA when you factor in Josh Smith playing the four some of the time. New Pistons Tony Mitchell and Luigi “Gigi” Datome give the Pistons depth along the three and four spots and makes it easier to trade Charlie Villanneuva mid-season if the price is right. I love Chauncey but Mr. Big Shot says he will only play two years. His palying days may be done by the time the Pistons are really ready to contend.
Other eastern conference projections have the Pistons finishing 11th in conference. We finished 11th last year and we didn’t play Drummond enough and signed Josh Smith, Chauncey ” Mr. Big Shot” Billups, and Luigi “Gigi” Datome along with drafting Peyton Siva, Tony Mitchell, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Also hiring Maurice “Mo” Cheeks is an upgrade over Lawrence Frank. Rasheed Wallace will help improve big men and he has his whole career so this a great chance to make the Turnt Up Twins even better. The Pistons could be a sixth seed in this years playoffs. One thing is for certain this season should be fun and exciting season.
