If the Lions expect to have a successful running game this season, Bell, not Reggie Bush, will have to be the main cog. He’s performed admirably throughout the preseason — sometimes to the point of fans calling for Mikel Leshoure’s head on cut day — and made his case why he should be the Lions featured back. If the Lions play their cards right, they could have themselves a formidable duo at running back throughout the season.
