"The Wings were tremendously pleased with what Alfredsson delivered last season, when he came to Detroit after 17 seasons with the Ottawa Senators. From Yahoo Eurosport: Chris Osgood A Hall Of Famer?

"Osgood’s name won’t be announced when the 2014 Hall of Fame class is revealed on Monday. He’s not a first-ballot guy; hell, he might not be a second or third either. He’s a player whose candidacy depends very much on the peers he’s matched up against and the criteria that the illustrious panel of voters decides to apply."

From MLive: Detroit Red Wings Draft Needs

"Barring a trade to move up or down in the draft – they dropped two spots last year and got Anthony Mantha, the only 50-goal scorer available, at No. 20 – the Red Wings will pick 15th overall."
