Sleeper of the Week
Shaun Hill, QB, St. Louis Rams – Some if you may love this, some may hate it, and maybe it’s a reach. Hill will get the start for the Rams in week 1 when they take on the Minnesota Vikings due to the season ending ACL injury to Sam Bradford. Hill is 34-years-old and has averaged 16 passes since 2010.
However, he is a very smart veteran QB who will protect the football.
During his 10 starts filling in for an injured Stafford in 2010, he ranked fifth in the league with an Accuracy Percentage of 76.1, and was even better in that category when faced with a pass rush (2nd; 70.1%), via Pro Football Focus’ Patrick Thorman.

Zac Stacey will see his fair share of action in the Rams running game, but St. Louis also has too much talent at receiver to not throw the ball around. If you’re in a two QB league or are playing the hot hand week-to-week as a strategy in 2014, starting Hill could payoff.
