Fantasy Football Tips: Injury Report

Rob Gronkowski – (Questionable)Gronk says he is “good to go”, despite his recovery time from offseason knee surgery seeming rather short. Coach Belichick may slowly work Gronkowski back into the game, as he has proven time and time again just how fragile his body can be.

While his time may be limited, he is Brady’s favorite target when he is on the field so he is still worth the start if he plays.

Julian Edelman owners beware, Edelman loses 25 percent of his production with Gronk in the lineup.

Jamaal Charles – (Probable) – You drafted Charles with your first-round pick, no matter who you are reading this. The tailback has had ample time to recover from his injury. He should be good to go. Start him.

Cam Newton – (Probable) – The Carolina Panthers quarterback will most likely wear a flak jacket around his battered and broken ribs, which could effect his ability to play the game the way he would like to. With Newton’s scrambling options removed look for the former Auburn Tiger to throw the ball away. I would still start him.
