Welcome back fantasy football fanatics! Week 2 of NFL action is upon us and with that come Detroit Jock Cities own Fantasy Football: Week 2 Start, Sit, and Sleepers.

The past week has been anything but quiet in regards to National Football League news. As the entire world is aware of, Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice was released by the Ravens and then suspended indefinitely by Roger Goodell and the NFL.

This story has been well-covered by all media outlets so we will simply skip the impact it has on fantasy owners.

Rice was already serving a two-game suspension to start 2014, but his ADP was still 67.07 this year. Whether you love him or hate him, (as many do) many owners were awaiting his return to cash in on the value Rice would have likely brought to a team. They won’t have to wait anymore, because there will be no return.

Then came news Friday that Minnesota Vikings Pro Bowl running back Adrian Peterson was inactive for Sunday’s game vs. the New England Patriots. This news came following word that a grand jury had indicted the star running back on a felony charge of injury to a child.

As if running back depth wasn’t already hard to come by, Week 1 saw injuries to Cleveland Browns RB, Ben Tate and Jacksonville Jaguars RB, Toby Gerhart. Add in the loss of Peterson and things will get interesting this week.

Lets take a look at our week 2 start, sit, and sleepers.
