 Who to Start:

QB Tom Brady (NE) – The decision to start Tom Brady in week 3 is an easy one. Why is that? Because fantasy football is all about the match-ups. In week 3 Brady and the New England Patriots face the Oakland Raiders.

Sunday marks the second time that Charles Woodson of the Raiders, returns to Foxboro since the infamous “Tuck Rule” play, but don’t expect the silver & black to exact any revenge.

The Oakland secondary is weak, and Woodson may be the first to admit it. So far this season the Raiders defense has faced Geno Smith and Ryan Fitzpatrick, two guys who are no where near the caliber of Brady.

My bet is Brady finally shows us some solid QB1 numbers vs. Oakland on Sunday.

QB Jay Cutler (CHI) – So, first of all — I was dead wrong about Cutler last week. I believed, as did a lot of other people, that the San Francisco 49ers defense would have their way with Cutler and Da Bears. I myself even sat Cutler during his four-touchdown showing, but not this week.

In week 3 Cutler and the Bears take on the New York Jets. (There is that word again, match-ups) The Jets have given up an average of 21 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks in 2014. Pair that with the fact that their run defense is formidable and logic tells you that Chicago takes to the air in this one.

Furthermore, Cutler ranks third in pass attempts by quarterbacks with 83. Start Cutler in this match-up friendly affair.
