Who to Sit:

QB Jake Locker (TEN) – One week in the NFL is a long time. Last week I had Locker as my sleeper of the week for week 2 action, and like many others who started the Tennessee Titans signal caller based on his match-up with the Dallas Cowboys, I came away disappointed.

Locker was 4 for 26 with an interception and a passer rating of 7.6 when the Titans entered halftime against the Cowboys, posting negative fantasy numbers up until that point. It was a drastic difference from his stellar week 1 showing, and things are likely not to get any better this week.

Locker now faces the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are PFF.com’s top-rated pass defense, ranking third lowest in completion rate for opposing quarterbacks (55.7 percent), second in interceptions (4) and first in yards per pass allowed (5.4).

RB Matt Forte (CHI) –  As mentioned above, the Chicago Bears have taken to the air in 2014, and it has come at Matt Forte’s expense.

Things are not likely to change when the Bears take on the Jets this week as they have allowed the fewest rushing yards in the NFL so far this season, a meager 72.

Forte’s saving grace may be his pass-catching ability if you’re in a PPR league.
