3. Jamaal Charles

Jamaal Charles was ranked as the No. 1 running back in countless fantasy football leagues entering the 2014 draft season. I myself would have been thrilled to take Charles (or AP) with the first-pick.

I am however, very happy that I picked late this year. Charles started out the year very slow, then suffered a high ankle sprain last week.

With the ankle injury in mind, one has to wonder — how far has Charles value dropped? Knile Davis‘ us even filling in nicely during Charles absence.

Charles injury is said to be “mild”. If there are any owners in your league that would like to sell on Charles while the iron is cold, then go for a trade. Especially if you can afford to sit him until he is 100 percent again.
