Start ‘Em

QB Eli Manning (NYG) – Yes, that says to start Eli Manning. Manning and the New York Giants seem to have worked the bugs out of their new offense, and in a big way at that. Last week vs. the Washington Redskins, Manning threw four touchdown passes, (should have been five if not for a drop in the endzone) and raked up 300 yards passing as well.

Manning also had himself a quality game in week three when he faced the Houston Texans. In that game he threw for 234 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

In upcoming week five action, Manning and the Giants take on the Atlanta Falcons who rank 30th in the league against the pass. The Falcons are also known to put some big numbers up on the score board, so this game may turn into a shoot out.

If you’re in a pinch at QB in week five, start Eli Manning.

QB Andrew Luck (IND) – This is the last time that I will ever put Andrew Luck on my Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em report. The reason for this is not that I expect some sort of drop off in production but rather that Luck has entered that ranks of the NFL’s elite quarterbacks, at least in the fantasy world.

You don’t see me put guys like Peyton, Rodgers, and Brees on this start ’em list much at all.  The reason is because they’re always a start ’em. The same goes for Luck from now on.

Last week, Luck threw for 400 yards and four touchdown, over a two week span, that’s nearly 800 yards passing and eight touchdowns. Throw in his above average ability to run the ball and you have no choice but to have Luck in your line up every week.
