Darren Helm is another player that struggled to stay healthy last season.  After finally recovering from back issues, Helm injured his hamstring early in the season and was never able to get to full strength.

The Detroit Red Wings are a different team when Helm is on the ice.  Helm’s break neck speed changes the game an open up the ice allowing for more space to move the puck in the neutral zone.  True Helm is getting up in age but his speed and experience will be key components to the Wings success this season.
