Kicking Woes Corrected?

The Detroit Lions also hope to have fixed their kicking woes this past week after releasing Alex Henery and signing former Denver Bronco, Matt Prater.

"”Sometimes you’ve got to get knocked down to learn the hard way,” Prater said. ”I’m thankful that I have a second chance here and learn from all the mistakes I’ve made in the past.”"

Prater was 25-26 in Denver last season, but was released by the Broncos early on this following off the field issues. The Lions signed Prater on Tuesday evening, and expect the Pro Bowler one-year removed to step in and make the kicks the others couldn’t.
