For the 3rd week in a row the Detroit Lions found a way to win again, coming from behind in the wanning mintues.  Matt Staffords’s 15th career game winning drive was capped by a Theo Riddick Touchdown catch that gave the Lions a 20-16 victory at Ford Field.

With that win the Lions are 7-2 for the 1st time since 1993, that year they were division champions.

Now onto player grades from week 10

Matthew Stafford

Matt Stafford completed 62% of his passes for 280 yards, two touchdowns including the game winner.

He was picked off once but Brent Grimes absolutely climbed the ladder to make one of the best plays you’ll see all season. Despite that interception, for the 3rd game in a row Stafford led the Lions down the field on the last drive of the game and got the Lions a win.

Of course fans still aren’t happy with their signal caller. While it’s true he hasn’t been very consistent, Matt Stafford is finding ways to win.

Through his 1st 70 games of his career Stafford he has more yards, touchdowns and fewer interceptions than Tom Brady and Peyton Manning did at the same point in their hall of fame careers.

Next Sunday Matthew Stafford will break Dan Mario’s record as the fastest player to hit the 20,000 yard mark.

He only needs 47 yards.

Knowing that it seems like Detroit Lions fans shouldn’t have much to complain about. But every Detroit Sports Fan knows: The hardest jobs in Michigan are being the starting goalie for the Red Wings, and the starting quarterback for the Lions.
