So much for Golden Tate’s numbers would going down with the return of Calvin Johnson. Tate was a perfect compliment to Calvin Johnson while playing the role of possession reciever.

Tate had a career high 11 catches, he broke the 100 yard mark for the 5th time in the last 6 games. Apparently the time spent with Calvin Johnson on the shelf was good for building chemistry between Golden Tate and Matthew Stafford.

Simply put Golden Tate shows no sign of slowing and if he keeps going at this pace he could be the best free agent pick-up in Detroit Lions hsiotry.
