  • From Joel Greer: Not So Fast: Latest Rumor Has Jim Harbaugh Coaching Michigan

"Now that Jim Harbaugh is expected to leave the San Francisco 49ers, the rumors of where he’ll coach next year are popping up faster than a California wildfire. At this point, the former Michigan and NFL quarterback could remain in the NFL at Miami, Oakland or Chicago, or, like has been rumored for years, return to his alma mater in Ann Arbor. Well, that’s the latest rumor which was tweeted earlier Sunday (Nov. 16) by  Gregg Henson of Pittsburgh’s 970 ESPN."

From Joel Greer: Trio Of Youngsters Dream Of Being The Next Mitch McGary

"If John Beilein had an Achilles’ Heel, it would be recruiting dominating big men. Despite earning a berth in the NCAA basketball tournament five of his first seven years at Michigan, only one of his bigs is playing in the National Basketball Association."

From Ryan Dunne: Maybe Rich Rodriguez Was Onto Something

"A lot of the Michigan Wolverines fans remember the “Rich Rod” era. A coach who wasn’t a “Michigan Man.” Someone who didn’t focus on defense. A man the boosters and fan base didn’t respect. I can sit here and say that I was one of those people who sat there and wanted to blame the head coach for the reasons for Michigan being so bad in his time. But when you take a look back, was he on to something?"

The fight begins about 30 seconds in and you can see McDavid hit his hand against the glass and that is presumed to be what hurt him."

From Nate Williams: Are Calvin Johnson And Golden Tate The Best WR Combo In The NFL

"For the first time in the seven-year career of Pro Bowl wideout, Calvin Johnson, the Detroit Lions have a legitimate No. 2 receiver. Golden Tate has exploded on the scene in the motor city early on in 2014. Through nine games, the former Seattle Seahawk has 909 receiving yards."
