2. Jonas Gray, RB, New England Patriots
New England Patriots running back, Jonas Gray is no stranger to out waiver wire targets list. He’s been around for a majority of the year, but after last weeks trouncing of the Colts, he’s officially established himself as the “big back” in Bill Belicheck’s system. That’s because he rushed for not just one, not just two, not even three, but four rushing touchdowns. (Don’t let that sway you from picking up the Colts D this week.)
He also had 201 yards on the ground.

The Pats don’t exactly have the most favorable of match ups this week, as they play host to the Detroit Lions at home. The Lions have the NFL’s No. 1 ranked run defense, giving up an average of just 68.8 yards per game to opposing runners.
They could however have favorable weather conditions in Foxboro when the game gets underway at 1:00 pm/ET this Sunday. Cold wind and snow has been blasting the New England region throughout the week, making for an upcoming football game that may see a run-heavy game plan.
