Western Michigan Broncos vs Central Michigan Start Time, Live Stream
Rivalry week! Say it with me everyone rivalry week! This Saturday the Western Michigan Broncos take on the Central Michigan Chippewas in Mount Pleasant. One of the best state rivalries is a must win for Western Michigan football if they want to still have a chance to win the Mid-American Conference. Central Michigan will be the first real test for the Broncos since Bowling Green in mid-October.
This is the 85th meeting between the Broncos and Chippewas. The Broncos lead 45-37-2 in the series. Western Michigan comes in with a 7-3 (5-1 MAC) record while Central Michigan comes to the fight with a 7-4 (5-2 MAC) record. Central also had a big 38-17 win against Purdue who Western lost to at the start of the season. However those games were played in the first two weeks of the season and we are in week 11 now.

The key for the Broncos this week may have to come from the passing game rather than their rushing game. Central Michigan has only given up 1308 yards on the season which is 118.9 yards per game. When it comes to passing the Chippewas give up on average 209.5 passing yards a game. The Broncos star freshman Jarvion Franklin got hurt last week and sat out the rest of the game but is good to go this week, however the Chippewas could lock him up.
Sophomore quarterback Zach Terrell will have to have a good game and make use of sophomores Corey Davis and Daniel Braverman. Franklin can also be a receiving running back so look for Terrell to have a gem of a game.

The Broncos will have to also have a good effort from their defense. Central Michigan has had 20 fumbles on the season and lost 13 of them. The defense will have to take advantage of this and take the ball away from the offense. Speaking of defense the Chippewas have an effective secondary which Terrell will have to watch out for. Sophomore Tony Annese and Junior Brandon Greer both have 3 INTs each and will be a likely headache for the Broncos quarter back.
