Start ‘Em

Matt Ryan, QB, Atlanta Falcons – It sure appears as if Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons started clicking at the right time. Last weak, at Lambeau Field, Ryan and Julio Jones torched the Green Bay Packers secondary, even though they did go on to lose the game.

Jones is battling a hip injury this week and has missed several practices, but is hopeful to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Whether or not Jones plays may be unknown all the way up until kick off, but either way you want to start Ryan in week 15.

The Steelers have given up a lot of points to opposing quarterbacks throughout the season, (seven in a row have scored at least 20 fantasy points) and Ryan has found his groove over the past few weeks, throwing for at least 360 yards and two touchdowns.

Jonathan Stewart, RB, Carolina Panthers – Week 15 will make the second consecutive that Jonathan Stewart is on the Detroit Jock City Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em. As mentioned above, Panthers QB Cam Newton was injured in a roll over car accident earlier this week. His back up quarterback, Derek Anderson will reportedly start in his place.

With Anderson under center on Sunday, you can expect the Panthers game plan to change drastically — likely to a run-heavy attack. Stewart is a great running back when healthy and his return to the field last week helped spark the one-dimensional Panthers back into a team that appeared to be playoff caliber.

Against the New Orleans Saints in week 14, Stewart ran for 155 yards. Look for him to have another 100 plus this week when the Panthers take on a terrible Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that has allowed seven different running backs at least 80 yards in 2014.
