Start ‘Em

Julian Edelman, WR, New England Patriots – Both Julian Edelman and Brandon LaFell are expected to play this week for the New England Patriots. In week 14, Edelman caught eight balls for 141 yards and a touchdown vs. the San Diego Chargers. While it was only the third time that Edelman has found the endzone in 2014, it was the fifth time that he recorded double-digit fantasy points.

Pats quarterback Tom Brady is in MVP form once again, and his No. 1 target this season is Edelman. In four of the past five games, Brady has looked Edelman’s way at least 10 times.

Furthermore, the Patriots face off with the Miami Dolphins this week. In the last two matchups with the Patriots and Dolphins, Edelman has 19 catches for a combined 234 yards. If Lafell does in fact play this week, it is likely that he will draw heavy attention from Brent Grimes, freeing up Edelman for yet another great game.

Larry Donnell, TE, New York Giants – In week four, Larry Donnell faced the Washington Redskins and had a career game.

It would in turn make logical sense for Eli Manning and Co. to go after the Redskins defense the same way in week 15, because the Skins D hasn’t improved.

In fact, it may have regressed.

In their past six games, Washington has allowed four tight ends to reach double digits in Fantasy points with six touchdowns allowed over that span. Jared Cook and Coby Fleener combined for eight catches, 188 yards and four touchdowns the past two weeks against the Redskins, and Donnell should be in line for a big game.
