Start ‘Em

Roddy White, WR, Atlanta Falcons

As I mentioned earlier, I fully expect no shortage of offense inside the Super Dome in week 16. Rumors around the league have Julio Jones sitting out another week due to his hip injury, moving Roddy White up into the Falcons No. 1 receiver spot. (Also, see Harry Douglass in our Week 16 Waiver Wire Targets column.)

White stepped up in Week 15 against the Steelers in Jones’ absence with seven catches for 58 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets. He now has at least nine Fantasy points in a standard league in five games in a row, with four touchdowns over that span, and he had five catches for 72 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against the Saints.

Travis Kelce, TE, Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has put together a good stretch of games as of late. Through Week 14-Week 15 Kelce has seen a combined total of 15 targets, which matches his 4-game total from Week 10-Week 13, so his targets on the receiving end have significantly jumped.

In week 16. Kelce will face the Pittsburgh Steelers defense. The Steelers D has allowed the eighth most fantasy points to tight ends in 2014 and have allowed opposing tight ends to score four touchdowns against them since week 10.

The Kansas City offense is a tad inconsistent at times, but Alex Smith loves to throw the ball to his tight ends and this weeks matchup is far too favorable to ignore.
