Sit ‘Em

Josh Gordon, WR, Cleveland Browns

When Cleveland Browns wideout, Josh Gordon returned to the league after serving his suspension earlier this year, he made noise in the fantasy football world right away. In his return in week 12 against the Falcons, Gordon was phenomenal. However, over recent weeks he has combined for a meager 12 points over three games.

Combine that with the troubling play from rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel and the risk is far too extensive with championship hopes on the line. If Manziel struggles again this week against the Carolina Panthers, Gordon’s stock in keeper leagues will undoubtedly suffer.

Jordan Reed, TE, Washington Redskins

Redskins tight end Jordan Reed was a hot commodity in recent weeks with Colt McCoy under center in Washington. The problem with that is that McCoy is out and Robert Griffin III is in, and RG3 just isn’t a tight end type of guy.

In three games this season in which both were healthy (at MIN in Week 9, vs. TB in Week 11 and at NYG in Week 15), the duo combined for six catches for 52 yards and no touchdowns on just eight targets.

Furthermore, the Skins get the Eagles this week and Philly has been tough on opposing tight ends this season. In fact, they have allowed just one touchdown to a tight end and only two have scored more than six Fantasy points in a standard league.
