Jonas is an interesting case; he’s a good stretch 4 off the bench and could really benefit a contending team. In limited time this season, Jerebko has managed to knock down 34 percent of his three-point shots and will hustle on defense.
Jerebko has been buried on the Pistons bench since 2009 – sometimes due to injury – but he has the skill to be an effective player on a good team. Let’s not have him waste all his good years in Detroit.
Detroit won’t get a huge kickback if they decide to move Jonas but they can get somebody in return or possibly a second-round draft pick.
He also has an expiring contract, making him more attractive to potential teams.
