ERECK FLOWERS

The Lions will definitely be looking for offensive line in the draft as well. A great option that should be around at 23 would be Miami’s Ereck Flowers.  With right tackle being such an issue with injuries why not go after this kid in the draft.  At 6’6″ 325 lbs, Flowers is an imposing force. In his 2 years at right tackle, Flowers did not allow a sack and helped block for Duke Johnson who became Miami’s all time leading rusher per ESPN’s Matt Fortuna.

Also noted by Fortuna, Todd Mcshay has him going 12th overall in his latest mock draft. But how often is Mcshay right?  A player like Flowers could be just what the Doctor ordered.
