2. STAFFORD SNEAK ATTACK. (2013)

Oh man was this one fun. Some may disagree with this being so high on the list, but this was one of those moments you will never forget. Once again Mike Payton was in the building for this one too. I can tell you first hand the way that crowd erupted was something incredible. Going into that final drive you could hear a pin drop in the stadium. The air had been sucked out. I remember it vividly. The Cowboys kicked a field goal and two girls behind me screamed “Lions suck” and this guy with a crew cut and a Tony Romo jersey kept taunting Lions fans. They thought they had it in the bag. Lions fans began to leave and then Stafford hit Kris Durham with a beautiful pass and fans started running back down the stairs. When Stafford jumped  over the pile the crowd went nuts. I turned to my wife and she was crying her eyes out. I looked at the Cowboys fans that were in total shock and all I could think was “59 seconds ago I looked like you” to say it was one of the greatest moments in Lions history would be an understatement. It was a reminder that sometimes sports can be such a beautiful thing.
