Retailers aren’t the only ones with something to lose either.  Advertising agencies are judged on their Super Bowls like Oscar nominees are judged the academy.  After the game there will be just as many shows and web posts analyzing the advertising on the TV as their will be pundits analyzing the play on the field.

The high stakes have caused agencies to release ads on the internet in advance to gauge public perception. Most of the this years Super Bowl were released on the internet weeks ago. The result is an advertising hype machine that is both entertaining and annoying.
