#3 Norm Cash

Norm Cash was a cornerstone of the Detroit Tigers through the 17 seasons he spent with the Tigers during which he spent every season starting at first base. Cash is all over the Detroit Tigers all time hitting leaders cranking the top 10 in home runs (2nd), RBI (7th), walks (6th) and singles (10th).

Although Cash gave Fans plenty to remember during his time as a Tigers he may be best know for his performance in the 1968 World Series.  Cash was brilliant against the St. Louis Cardinals hitting .385 with a home run and 5 RBI on the way to the historic World Series Championship.

Cash is probably the best Detroit Tiger this side of Mickey Lolich not be in the Hall of Fame.  His career numbers include 377 home runs, .374 OBP and 51.7 WAR.
