False Positives

What have we seen from the self-proclaimed Mr. August? We have seen Kellen lead the Lions to come from behind wins and we have seen him dominate defenses with ease, all while making Matthew Stafford look like a bum. Well no, not really.

What we have seen is a third string quarterback playing against third string players and guys that would ultimately move on to their back up career after the pre-season. Kellen Moore has never faced a first string defense in his NFL career and he has still struggled. The idea that Kellen’s performances against third stringers should warrant a starting spot on the Lions is such an irrational idea that makes me want to climb a clock tower with a list of demands.

There is no Kellen Moore conspiracy, the Lions coaching staff isn’t laughing sisterly back at the Hall Of Doom with Sinestro and Lex Luthor. Kellen Moore is just not a starting NFL quarterback.
