What is it really?

The illogical hatred of Matthew Stafford is what this all about. Lions fans can easily be divided into two groups, those who like Stafford and those who don’t. Those who do realize that Stafford is an asset to the team and those who don’t want any other option possible. Whether it’s Michael Vick, Peyton Manning for one season, or good old Kellen Moore. To this group anything is better than Stafford. Anything is better than a quarterback that at 27 hold’s every Lions passing record in the books as well as a few NFL records. Anything is better than a quarterback that has led the Lions to more postseason berths than the last 8 starting quarterbacks for the Lions.

Fans of all teams do not like to lose and the Lions fans are not alone when it comes to crazy ideas. I wasn’t long ago that Patriots fans were calling for the benching of Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady. Overreaction’s never solve anything but patience always prevails. Kellen Moore is not the answer.
