Again as the NHL trade deadline comes closer we as Detroit Red Wings fan aren’t fully sure if the team will trade for anyone or just keep to themselves. Really in the past couple of seasons the team hasn’t made big trades, however they still managed to make the playoffs and have made them for 23 straight seasons. I’ve never lived on this planet where the Detroit Red Wings haven’t made the playoffs, that means there is a whole generation of fans who haven’t. what other fan base has that?

However with this season, I think yet again, the team won’t do much, but that doesn’t mean we can’t look at some potential trades. It is always fun to look at what if’s and maybe, you could come up with the next big trade or just come up with fantasy trades you wish the team would make.
