A semi nice looking piece from the Arizona Coyotes…. Or the Phoenix Coyotes… Or whomever they are, I mean this team might end up moving to Las Vegas in the near future so they might be looking to get rid of players just to get a new team. Keith Yandle wouldn’t be a bad pick up by the Red Wings in the sense that he would help for the playoffs.
While he has only scored 4 goals on the season he does have 36 assists and likes to take a lot of shots on goal which at sometimes the Red Wings either just can’t do or don’t like to do much.

He has 174 shots on goal this season and the past five seasons he has been averaging 188 shots on goal and that is a good thing.
Age and contract again is important to me when I’m going to bring players in. Yandle is 28 years old which isn’t a bad thing by any means. He isn’t really old and not really young. He has a year left on his contract at a 5.5 million dollar cap hit. Those numbers are not nearly as bad as Kessel and Phaneuf, and you have the chance to resign him to a contract if you want to.
