This has been a popular choice since Gordon was seen wearing a Lions winter hat late last year. While Gordon doesn’t have a choice as to who picks him, he may be very happy if the Lions do. There is no reason the player being dubbed Beast Mode 2.0 couldn’t be around at 23. Looking at the 22 teams ahead of the Lions it appears though there are far more pressing needs for those teams.

What Gordon can bring to the Lions is a tough running game to stop. Gordon is similar to Lynch in his run over you approach and can be fashioned into a Lynch sequel but with more finesse. Gordon does not bring the type of speed that Bush offered, but he is a no-nonsense straight forward runner which the Lions could have used instead of Bush who often times tried to hard to make things happen.
