Okay the excitement for Spring training game to start is getting to be harder and harder to deal with as the days inch closer. However unless you live in the state of Florida you more than likely aren’t going to get to go to a game or see the Detroit Tigers until they return up north in April.

Yet, most of us are in luck in the sense that social media platforms can give us a look into the entire time during Spring training.
So to help you get through your more than likely cold, snowy day here is a look at some of the first sights and sounds of the Detroit Tigers 2015 Spring Training season.
First off you have got to miss the sound of baseball. The slaps of gloves, the cracks of bats as they hit the ball. The players chatting it up amongst one another. Cleats as they skid across the dirt, it just makes you feel like it is the warm summer and you love hearing it. The Tigers snapchat showed us the sounds we all loved.
Then of course we get to see the players that we missed. Fans got to see a seemingly slimmer Miguel Cabrera thanks to the Tigers Twitter account. He looks in great shape and looks to be as happy as anyone to be back at something he loves.
Also a face fans should be happy to see Jose Iglesias who was caught by the Detroit Tigers Instagram account taking swings in the cage. Hopefully Iglesias can stay healthy this season and help the Tigers as they look to win the American League Central again.
Then of course there are the fans who are there and getting to see players sign autographs for them is cool. It shows you that this sport is loved by its fan base and that some kid might become a lifelong fan because they went to Spring training when they were younger is always a win for the sport.
By now, everyone who was invited to Spring Training is there, thanks to the Tigers Instagram again we got to see everyone heading to the field for the work out as a team and then got to see some infield work all of which is nice to see again when there is about a foot and a half of snow outside my window.
Then we got our first from what I only assume is Brad Ausmus on Twitter. He had a clear message about what this season meant and how they will be going about their business this season.
