For a team that just released a running back and now have to do something with the position and who is your one and two guys. Look I know you may not like all the trouble that Adrian Peterson has gotten into the past season, but as a football player he is a good player still and has a good amount of gas in the tank. He went through all the legal stuff that he had to go through and now it is time for us and him to put it behind him unless he repeats himself.

The only real issue here is how you would get Peterson. He is still technically a Viking and so unless they release him, you are going to have to give something up for him. Yet the Vikings seem very into getting rid of the running back so maybe you won’t have to give up a lot for him or just wait and be able to get him if the team releases him.

If anything he could be a good one-two tandem with Bell and you could draft a running back in the draft to have as a third guy in case something happens to those guys. I just have a hard time on passing on a guy like Peterson because while he may be a little old, 29, for a running back, he is still good at his craft. Just at times a very questionable person off the field.
