Health: Health is the one factor that Ross hasn’t had any problems with. Although he has a return style that makes it seem as though one big hit will knock him out.

Grade: 4.5

Big Play: Ross is a home run hitter. By that I mean he wants to hit the home runs but leads the league in strike outs,

Grade: 2.5

Dependability: Ross has an important job. The offense can live or die with field position. Ross had trouble getting the Lions anywhere past the 20 yard line. When in at receiver, Ross can make plays when he’s on. Problem is nobody know’s when that is.

Grade: 3

Smart Play: Ross did some boneheaded things this past season including taking the ball out when he shouldn’t and not following his blockers. It goes back to the home runs. Ross wants to take it the house every return.

Grade: 2.5

Impact: Maybe we all got a little ahead of ourselves with Ross. After his two return touchdowns against Philadelphia the thought was that the Lions had found their return man. Ross took a step back this past season and maybe that’s what he needed. In my opinion Ross is here to supply depth to the receiver position instead of coming back as the return man again. Ross definitely has the talent to make this signing make sense. Will he do it?

Grade: 3

Final Grade: 15.5
