Whether or not you agree with how the Detroit Lions have handled free agency thus far as a fan you have to give them credit for something.  They haven’t let the free agency process distract them from draft preparation.

The Lions have hosted a number of players thus far for pre-draft visits.  For those of you keeping score at home that is 3 defensive tackles, 2 offensive linemen, 3 corner backs and 2 running backs so far with a lot more on the docket.

Studying the pre-draft visits doesn’t always guarantee how the team will draft but it does give you insight as to where the team may be looking to draft a certain position.  It can also help bring into focus the type of player the team may be focusing on in the draft.

Lets take a look at these potential draft prospects by position; where they might fall in the draft and how they could fit with the Detroit Lions.
