Da’quan Bowers

The Lions defensive line took a hit this offseason with the loss of Ndamukong Suh. While the Lions have made strides to replace him they could still use some quality depth at the position.

Bowers is still young. At 25 he is coming off some quiet years I Tampa Bay. In four years Bowers has notched 45 tackles and 7 sacks. when your behind arguably the 2nd best defensive tackle in the game and low on the depth chart it’s hard to break out.

What Bowers brings to the table is versatility. He can play tackle and end and provide quality depth as a pass rusher and run stopper. Bowers could benefit from Kris Kocerek and Teryl Austin and maybe become a quality starter in the future.
