Under The Radar addition: Shane Greene
Greene is a tremendous young talent, last year with the Yankees he had a good year boasted a 3.38 ERA and a whip of 1.938.
Greene is talented he has the skill sets to be a very good pitcher in the Major’s, he’s had a solid Spring training however Spring Training isn’t exactly something to examine.

Last year, Yankees GM Brian Cashman said “he exceeded the expectations set by the Yankees organization”
Michael Kay on 105.1 Detroit said “Greene is a solid pitcher and can be really good in the majors, I don’t ever think he’ll be “great”, but the kid has a good set of skills to be a really good pitcher in the MLB. He’s someone the Yankees didn’t really want to give up, but their need at SS was a need that had to be addressed.”
Kay (Yankees Play by-play voice on YES Network) is correct the Yankees didn’t want to give up Greene but desperation leads to parting with players you don’t want to especially when you lose on of the best SS’s to play the game.
