Matt Prater

Maybe he was aiming for the posts? Nothing like a little extra drama in a football game. The Lions certainly got that out of their kicking game. When Prater came on the immediate feeling was that the kicking woes were gone. After Prater shook off the rust and had a few close calls, he turned in a pretty nice season. Including his walk off field goal in London.

Sam Martin

I love Sam Martin, but that kid has got to stop shanking punts when it counts the most. 99.9% of the time Martin is one of the best punters in the league and is excellent of kick offs as well. But then there’s those moments when he shanks one 10 yards and makes you want to cry.
