Riley Reiff

Great, more questions. Just where will Riley Reiff play on the offensive line next season?  He could move to right tackle or even kick into the left guard spot. At this point it’s hard to make a call on that. I would have to say Reiff will stay at Left tackle until the draft shakes out, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Reiff is a decent left tackle and was a bright spot on the line last season.

Left Guard

? Who out there wants to play some left guard? anyone…..anyone…..Beuhler?

Travis Swanson

Swanson played well in relief last season. He showed he can flex in anywhere on the line and at least hold his own. I would expect Swanson to start at center this season, replacing Raiola. Hopefully he doesn’t do any dumb hot-headed antics like his predecessor.

Larry Warford

Warford had an exceptional rookie year followed up by the classic sophomore slump. That’s not to say that Warford had a horrible year. Its saying that Warford didn’t have as a good of a year as his first one and injuries certainly didn’t help with that. I would expect to see Larry have a better year and hopefully stay healthy.

LaAdrian Waddle

Waddle is similar to Warford in the fact that he had a nice rookie year and took a step back due to injuries. Waddle also had to go from a fast developing project to starter immediately after Corey Hilliard went down in week 1. Waddle had some nice games but just couldn’t stay healthy. At this point I think he’s the guy at right tackle.

Cornelius Lucas

Here’s a guy that has everything you want but doesn’t know how to use it properly just yet. Lucas came on in relief of Waddle last year and flashed some nice ability while also flashing some inexperience and rookie mistakes. In a perfect world Lucas has a great camp moves to left tackle, kicking over Reiff into the left guard spot and Waddle remains on the right. Don’t you just love perfect words?
