45 sacks allowed. That stats says everything you need to know about this position. The Lions need a guard to be specific. An argument could be made that they need much more than that but the depth is there if guys like Waddle and Lucas can stay healthy.

Left guard is the popular choice of positions to be filled. What if the Lions filled that position with somebody that’s already on the team? A popular question since the beginning of the offseason is “where will Riley Reiff play on the line next year?”

What if Reiff moved over to left guard? The Lions could take advantage of a deep draft full of offensive tackles by doing so. Drafting a guy like Cedric Ogbuehi, Andrus Peat or La’el Collins could create such a possibility.
