Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate should be enough but they are not. Outside of those two, Matt Stafford does not have a reliable receiver to throw to. He was some potential weapons in Ryan Broyles, T.J. Jones and Corey Fuller but Broyles and Jones can’t stay healthy and Fuller can’t catch.
Receiver is something Detroit does not have to address with the first pick and who knows if they’ll address it at all. If tight end, Eric Ebron, does not step and become a reliable third option for Stafford then expect to see a lot of forced throws to Johnson and Tate again.
